| Trip Report: | Last day of the trip. June had left and Elle was exhausted so I hit the slopes by myself. |

| Accommodation: | Royal Valhalla in South Lake Tahoe. The bit the don't mention on the web site is that is it is the Royal Valhalla "Motor Lodge". Clean, but no frills. |

| Description: | Great resort with that European feel of traveling around the mountain, but expect to pay premium prices for lift tickets and lunch.
Park at the California Lodge unless you're staying near to the Gondola (or don't mind paying $20+ for a day of parking. Lift lines at the Sky Express were the longest, but even on a Saturday I didn't wait more than 10 minutes in the singles line. The new village at the base of the Gondola is ok, but South Lake Tahoe is still a pretty grim place to spend time. |
