"Fantastic crusing reds over a really large area. There isn't much really hard stuff, but if you want to glide over the whole mountain this is the place to go. In the mornings, head over to Grou Roch and then onwards and you'll get away from them crouds. Things do bunch up heading back over from the Grou Roch valley to Pas in the evenings as all of the beginers struggle with the busy red coming back.
Pas has been a called "Ibiza on ice" and it's true to some extent. If you're in your 20s, on a budget and like to party, this could well be the resort for you. Cheep hard liqour (but averaged priced beer) is the order of the day. Overall, costs are a lot lower than France, Austria, etc. The town itself doesn't have much character, but you're going to be on the slopes, in a bar or alseep right? " |
